Introducing Tokyo Gal

Chocolate Dreams – Tokyo Galというミュージックビデオをリリースしたばかりで、曲では自分自身の東京での生活について書きました。 私は以前、トミコ・ヘーヴィというブレイジアン(Blasian=Black+Asian)の女性と一緒に働いていて、私は当時レストランのシェフ、彼女はマネージャーでした。私は彼女といつもキッチンで、レゲトンを流しながら、トゥワーキングしていました。その様子を“Hevi got lit shake it right quick in the kitchen dropping that beat 見せたろかこのヘーヴィのBooty.” と歌詞の中にいれました。あと曲の中で、恋愛関係や最後のパートでは、人々がブラジアンをどのように扱っているかについて書きました。 このシングルは、今年の7月に出したのですが、今はR&Bの曲に取り組んでおり、ライブパフォーマンスを撮影する予定です。ターゲットはどちらかというと女性で、ラブソングです。Lo-Fiでリラックスした曲調で、JhenéAikoやSummerWalkerのような感じです。

I just released a music video; it’s called Tokyo Gal Cocolate Dreams. I wrote about my life in Tokyo. I used to work with this blasian girl called Tomiko Hevi. At the time, I was a chef in the restaurant, and she was the manager. Me and her were always twerking in the kitchen . . . playing reggaeton. That’s why part of the lyrics say, “Hevi got lit shake it right quick in the kitchen dropping that beat 見せたろかこのヘーヴィのBooty.” So, I talk about that [[in the song]], and about “singledom” and relationships a little bit. And in the last part, I talk about how people are always treating [[blasians]]. That single came out in July. Now, I’m working on an RnB song, and we’re planning to shoot a live performance for it. The target is more like females, love songs . . . something like Jhené Aiko or Summer Walker . . . lo-fi and relaxed.
