Introducing Jennifer

2015年に初めて東京にきたのですが、私はたちまち恋に落ちました。東京は、とても綺麗で全てが整っていました。私は日本語にも恋に落ちました。日本語はすごく可愛いです。当時は日本のいろんなところに旅行にいきました。京都や奈良、広島など。長野や日光、鎌倉にも少し滞在しました。一人旅でしたが、本当に楽しかったです。「こんにちは」「ありがとう」しか話せなくても、いろんな土地のたくさんの人に出会うことができました。東京の第一印象は、そうですね…大きな建物ばかり！渋谷なんか、本当に人が多くてびっくりしました。小さな蟻たちが歩き回ってるみたいでした。新宿もとても人が多かったです。なんとなくパリの4区みたいでした。

The first time I came to Japan was in 2015, and I fell in love: it was very clean and everything was in order. I also fell in love with the Japanese language; for me, it’s so cute. At that time, I travelled a lot in Japan–to Kyoto, Nara, and Hiroshima. I also visited Nagano, Nikko, and Kamakura a little. Although I was travelling alone, it was exciting: I could always meet new people from around the world, even if I could only say “konnichiwa” and “arigato.” As for my first impression of Tokyo: well . . . very big buildings. In Shibuya, I was like wow: there are so many people. And they look like little ants walking around. The same in Shinjuku–it looked like the 4th arrondissement in Paris.
