Introducing Cássia

子供の頃からずっと美術や工芸が好きで、特にファッションが大好きです。17歳の頃から縫製、パターン製作、それから服作りを始めました。というのも、子供の頃、Art Attackのようなおもちゃなどの工作を教える番組をテレビでよくみており、ちょうどポルトガル語にも吹き替えられていました。そして、私が6歳のとき、誕生日プレゼントにジュエリーキットをもらったことを覚えています。それからというもの、ブレスレットやチョーカー、ネックレスを暇さえあれば作ったりしていました。私はどちらかと言えば、常にストレスを感じてしまうタイプの子供だったので、そのような感情を癒す意味もありました。そのため、私はいつも美術や工芸に夢中なのです。ファッション業界で働きたいとは思わないが、間違いなく楽しいものであるとは思う。

I really like fashion. Ever since I was a kid, I really liked arts and crafts. So, when I was around 17 years old, I started sewing, making patterns, and making clothes. How did I get into that? I used to watch shows on TV when I was a kid, like Art Attack, that teach you how to make toys and stuff. It was dubbed into Portuguese. And when I was 6, I remember getting a jewelry-making kit as a birthday gift. For years, I would spend every hour making bracelets, chokers, and necklaces. It was therapeutic, as I was always a stressed kid. So I’ve always been into arts and crafts. And while I don’t think I want to work [[in the fashion industry]], I think it’s a lot of fun.
